My entry for 
's self portrait contest!
I decided I wanted to redo :thumb122314607: for the contest. Each image shows me in the the studio surrounded by the things I love: Plants, my work, and of course, birds. The still life is representative of my loves: The heron and plant, for my affinity toward birds and nature in general. The little space man, for my wacky side and love of cartoons and illustration. And the antique bowl, ceramic mug, book, and metal notepad: I love antiques and random junk. x3
The Heron is actually over 100 years old and horribly deteriorated. His neck is falling apart, and both the top part of his head and his wings can come off.
